As a mental health nurse, Hectoria was invited to speak at the
United Nations in Geneva at a two day conference
from the 7th to 8th December 2017. She did a presentation on the
work of TOSHPA (The Organisation of
Sierra Leone Healthcare Professionals
Abroad), focusing on capacity building and the training
of local healthcare workers in Sierra Leone.

TOSHPA as a humanitarian organisation is responding by sending mental health
and psychosocial care Professionals to work alongside the local colleagues in
offering care to survivors of the 14th August 2017 disaster.
