major mudslide occurred in Freetown, Sierra Leone, on 14th August 2017.
More than 1000 people are estimated dead. About 500 of them received
a dignified burial. The rest remained buried under the bud at the scene.
In some situations, the whole families have been wiped off. Much more
remain destitute, orphaned and helpless. The impact on children and
women is huge.
Victims need food, shelter, water, clothing and the related emergency
TOSHPA and our partners are raising funds to deliver water, food, assorted
emergency health supplies, and empowering the health services providers
on the ground with items to aid their work.
