TOSHPA Upgrades Male Medical Ward 2 at Bo Government Hospital

Bo, Sierra Leone — 2024
The Organisation of Sierra Leonean Healthcare Professionals Abroad (TOSHPA) has successfully completed the upgrade of the Male Medical Ward 2 at Bo Government Hospital, reaffirming its commitment to improving healthcare facilities and patient care standards across Sierra Leone.

The project, carried out under TOSHPA’s Hospital Support and Renovation Initiative, involved essential repairs, new equipment installations, and improvements to patient comfort and sanitation conditions within the ward. The renovation is part of TOSHPA’s broader vision to enhance healthcare infrastructure and empower local health professionals through sustained partnerships.

“Upgrading Male Medical Ward 2 represents another tangible step toward dignified and quality healthcare for all,” said a TOSHPA spokesperson. “Our diaspora professionals continue to bridge global expertise with local action, ensuring better care environments for patients and staff alike.”

The Bo Government Hospital management team expressed deep appreciation for TOSHPA’s ongoing support, recognizing the organization’s contributions to hospital development, staff training, and community health outreach in the district.

TOSHPA remains committed to collaborating with the Ministry of Health and Sanitation, hospital authorities, and international partners to continue strengthening Sierra Leone’s health system — one ward, one project, and one community at a time.

Together for a healthier Sierra Leone.
